How Heating & Plumbing Central Works

Heating and Plumbing Central is your gateway to a powerful network of experienced heating and plumbing engineers. Our mechanical engineer network coordinator ensures every single member of our network is certified and trained to the highest required standards to execute the job we allocate to them.

If you need to replace your boiler or your central heating system is old and needs updating, Heating and Plumbing Central can help you. We will find a qualified and experienced plumber for your specific requirement. If it is a new combi boiler you need, we will allocate a local  specialist, holding all the right certifications and years of experience. If you are after something more complicated, such as a new under floor heating system, or a new bathroom suite, we will allocate another specialist plumber with specific experience and relevant certifications.

The process is very simple:
1.    You call our dedicated call centre and speak with a trained manager. We do not use any automated phone systems, your call will be answered by a polite and helpful manager.

2.    We ask a few questions and arrange for a visit by a qualified and experienced plumber or heating engineer based on what you tell us.

3.    We immediately arrange for a visit by a local member of our network at a convenient time to assess your boiler repair or installation requirements.

4.    The engineer visits your home and evaluates the situation, working out the most cost effective strategy for your system, providing an accurate quote for the work.

5.    If you accept the quote, you can arrange directly a convenient time for the work to start. Once the work is complete and to your satisfaction, you pay directly to the engineer

6.    Once the job has been done, your account managers will call you to confirm quality and get direct feedback from you.

Cost - We will not charge you anything for the service. Our service is funded by the network members. What’s more, the engineer will visit your property at a convenient time free of charge (when quoting on a boiler installation or replacement) to be able to give you an accurate quotation.

Timing and Availability - In most cases we can arrange for a member of our network to visit you same day or next day, if it is not an emergency.

Quality and Guarantee - For us, quality of work and quality of parts is paramount. We take every possible step to ensure that not only are our network members fully certified and trained, but they also keep up to date professionally.

Our stringent network membership criteria ensure that all our engineers are fully certified and trained for the types of jobs they are allocated. In addition, we proactively seek feedback from all customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service they have received. Such feedback is acted upon and members that score poorly are removed from the network. This way we ensure only the best engineers are recommended to help you. Most engineers offer a fixed period of guarantee on their labour, in addition to the manufacturers’ guarantee on the parts (normally 2 years on a new boiler).
